Setting the stage for 'Covered'

drama7380With just two weeks to go before the opening night of 'Kindly Keep it Covered', Kilcullen Drama Group's upcoming winter production, the sounds of hammering, sawing, stapling and other building endeavours are to the fore.

The set looks quite impressive already, and no doubt will be another tour de force, with the spirit of the late Pat Dunlea keeping an eye over the shoulders of its builders.

In the moments of silence from the stage, small eruptions of mutter beyond the back wall indicate the cast in the latter stages of their own preparations, which Vivian Clarke says are 'going well'.

The Diary hopes that the hospital stretcher parked in a corner of the stage just now is not on standby for casualties of that process coming to a fever pitch.
