Tidy award for KCA

Kilcullen Community Action has received 900 euros from Kildare County Council on foot of the town's performance in the 2006 Tidy Towns Competition.

Of the total, 400 euros was awarded because Kilcullen achieved 'Most Improved' status in the Naas Electoral Area. The balance was described as being paid for 'Bonus Points'.

The presentation was made at a function in Arus Cill Dara in Naas, attended by Esther Kiely, Celia Travers and Kieran Forde.
