'Sacred Space' for CPC

RTE celebrity architect presenter Duncan Stewart is to launch a project in Cross & Passion College under the theme of a 'Sacred Space'.

It will be a combination of building and garden area which may be used for spiritual practice, personal worship, reflection, meditation and simple 'time out'.

This 'oasis of calm' will be created around a building made from natural materials, with the garden on the roof. The open plan interior will be large enough to hold a complete year group and will facilitate religious and liturgical services within the school.

The College is looking for practical help and support in achieving the project. Preferably in donations of time, plant and materials, but financial help will also be welcomed. A full list of all requirements is available from the school.

The CPC hopes to get the project underway in December.
