Usk fight fundraiser

A fundraiser fashion show for the Usk & District Residents Association fight against plans to locate a refuse disposal facility in their area will be held on Thursday 12 October.

The event will take place in Toughers of Newhall, Naas, and will include fashions from local shops including Marks & Spencers and Sasha in Newbridge, Catriona's and Annemac's in Naas, Serenade in Dunlavin and Owen Barker Menswear in Newbridge.

Childrenswear will also be shown, and special guests for the evening will be former Miss Ireland Andrea Roche and members of the Kildare senior football team.
