Thorny Rose scratches some

A heat of the Thorny Rose competition will be held in O'Connell's White Horse Inn on Friday 27 October.

The event will be compered by organiser Matt Browne and the proceeds go to the Rehab Foundation.

There's some concern around the town that other pubs weren't asked to run their own individual 'Thorny Rose' competitions this year, as had been the practice before.
