Energy Fair next weekend

An Energy Fair aimed at helping people keep their heating bills down will be held next Sunday, October 22, in St Conleth's Vocational School in Newbridge.

The event has been organised by the FADA Community Group in association with Kildare VEC, and will feature a number of experts as well as local suppliers of energy efficient heating appliances.

The experts include Duncan Stewart, architect and broadcaster; economist Jim Power; Siobhan Higgs who will speak on the era of 'peak oil'; a representative of Sustainable Energy Ireland; and energy consultants Andy Wilson and Michael Layden.

Admission is free. The event runs from 2-6pm.
