Don Baker at Riverbank
Don Baker, musician, songwriter, author, is the quintessential artiste whose life has been both poignant and fast paced.
He is also one of the greatest acoustic harmonica players in the world, a fact acknowledged by many, including Mark Feltham, Charlie McCoy and Bono.
And he's playing the Riverbank Arts Centre, Newbridge, on Friday 28 July at 8 pm. The talented Kildare based singer-songwriter, Pierce O'Donnell, will be supporting
Don's playing is influenced and shaped by blues greats such as Sonny Boy Williamson and Sonny Terry. Don was also greatly influenced by Charlie McCoy, who has since become a friend and recorded the Don Baker composition ‘Jordanna’.
