Brannockstown development meeting

A Village Meeting has been called in Brannockstown for Monday night, to hear details of a proposed housing development on the Harristown estate.

The Diary understands that the development includes a cafe and a shop, with a view to providing a 'centre' to the village.

Members of the Village Committee recently had a meeting with the developer and public representatives to discuss the proposal, and those members are reporting back to the village residents at Monday night's meeting, which is scheduled for 8pm.

The meeting will also discuss other matters, including progress on the Carnalway access dispute, and tidy towns business.
