Venice at Riverbank

The Merchant of Venice by William Shakespeare will be performed by Kildare Youth Theatre at Crooked House and is directed by Peter Hussey.

This dynamic and physical production of Shakespeare’s classic play of mercy and revenge, focuses on the colonised and marginalised in the sumptuously wealthy societies of Venice and Belmont.

It will feature original music composed and performed by KYT. The production is in modern dress and is suitable for all ages.

It runs in the Riverbank Arts centre from Wednesday 7 to Saturday 10 December.

Performances begin at 8pm and admission is €12/€8.
