Susan's Wedding

Well, this is a first for the Diary -- a wedding item.



But sure 'tis a neighbour's child, so it would be hard to miss it. Sue Bergin married Andy Dowling in St Joseph's Church, Gormanstown, yesterday.





It was a great day, wonderful weather, and after a very nice mass and thoughtful homily from celebrant Fr Andrew O'Sullivan, the main players and their guests had a real fine knees up in Ardenode Hotel.











This writer left around midnight, but was reliably informed this afternoon that the last reveller went to bed sometime after five am.
