Water those tubs

An appeal has been made for people living or working near the town's decorative flower tubs to water them often once they have been replanted this weekend.

Noel Clare of Kilcullen Community Action says they will really need 'a lot of water' for the first couple of weeks, especially if there is a dry spell.

He also said that all volunteers will be welcome to help in the replacement of some old tubs and the planting this Saturday, from around 10.30am.
