Congratulations for Directory

Senator John Dardis has congratulated Kilcullen Community Action on the production of the latest issue of the Community Directory.

He said he was especially pleased that it included the contact details of the local public representatives, in contrast to the equivalent publication in Newbridge — which had not done so, despite have received state aid.

Senator Dardis, who has had a long association with Kilcullen, added that the Directory would be a very valuable document to himself and to many others.

Meanwhile, the recent KCA meeting heard that Kildare County Council had approved a grant of €1,000 towards the cost of the Directory, which was distributed through The Bridge magazine and is also available free in the Parish centre, An Tearmann, and the Town Hall.
