Upcoming in the BAG and Upstairs

After a brief hiatus, Ballymore Acoustic Gigs resume next Monday, November 18, writes Roy Thompson.

Things kick off with John Spillane, currently touring with his new CD 'Life in an Irish Town' - songs from the hit TG4 TV series 'Spillane ag Fánaí'.

On Monday 25 November the talent is Gurf Morlix, multi-instrumentalist, producer, singer/songwriter; former guitarist and band leader to the great Lucinda Williams.

The Edisons feature on Monday December 2, a great Americana sound from this Irish outfit. Touring their debut CD and creating a huge stir. Support on the night from The Young Folk and Fiach. Highly recommended.

On Tuesday December 3, in Cunningham's of Kildare, it's another opportunity to hear the Edisons, with support on the night from The Young Folk and Fiach.
