Niamh sets up a new business

Another local woman's business story is Niamh Traynor's A Little Massage enterprise, writes Brian Byrne.

After 20 years as a stay at home Mam, Niamh decided to go back to school and studied massage at the IBHT in Newbridge, graduating during the summer.

Niamh has since set up as a massage therapist on the Cutlery Road in the Whitewater Shopping Centre in Newbridge. She told the Diary that it's 'going well so far'. "Keeping it affordable is very important to me, so I charge a flat rate of €20 for a 45-minute session. The health benefits of regular massage are fantastic."

Niamh is meantime continuing her studies on Sports Massage Level IV VTCT, and Reflexology. She also runs regular competitions on her Facebook page at Alittlemassage.
