Council response promised

Readers should know the Diary has been promised a response from Kildare County Council to our story It'd be nice to know.

It relates to the widening of the footpath at the traffic lights, and also the idea that any plans of work to be carried out in the town should be posted in advance so that we in the community which the council serves would have a chance to comment before it takes place.

The story appeared November 17, so we hope the response will be forthcoming soon.
