Leaving Cert science grinds for next school year

A programme of small-group Leaving Cert Biology and Chemistry grinds will be offered at Kilcullen Community Centre from September to May.

The classes will be led by an experienced secondary school science teacher and will focus on the new Leaving Cert curriculum, exam questions, marking schemes, exam technique, data analysis skills, and weekly question practice.

Classes will run on Monday evenings, with Biology from 5pm to 6pm and Chemistry from 6pm to 7pm. The cost is €30 per class, with five-week Biology blocks priced at €150 and six-week Chemistry blocks at €180. A discount is available for students taking both subjects.
