The passing of John Hyland (Ballylinan)

The death has occurred of John Hyland, 27 Corrig Lane, Station Road, Portarlington, County Laois and late of Rathgilbert, Athy, on Friday, 12 December 2025. Though not of this parish, John would have been very well known in the Kilcullen area, as he lived in Bishop Rogan Park for several years. 

Predeceased by his parents, Madge and John Hyland, of Rathgilbert House, Ballylinan, and his sister, Ita (Curtis), his passing is deeply regretted by his loving brothers and sisters, Maureen, Bridie, Eilish, Denis, Michael, and Imelda; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces,  nephews, relatives and friends.

John will be reposing at Rigney's Funeral Home, Athy (R14 TX26) on Monday evening, 15 December, from 5pm until the conclusion of the Rosary at 8pm. Removal at 10.30am on Tuesday, 16 December 16, to arrive at St Anne's Church, Ballylinan, for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Ballylinan Cemetery.
