Rudolph ran a very smooth event
In a very well-organised morning, more than a thousand people of all ages took part in today's Kilcullen GAA Run, Run, Rudolph! event, writes Brian Byrne. The blustery day didn't in any dampen the good humour throughout the fundraiser.
The new category of half-marathon (21.1km) attracted a large entry on its own, with the runners heading off first at 10.30am. The 10K runners took to the road at 11.15am, and the 5K runners 15 minutes later.
We'll give the results when we have them. In the meantime, while a few of our photos are on this page, ALL the Diary's pictures from last night's Family 2.5K and today's events can be seen and downloaded from this link.
