Kilcullen Diary: Watch out for floods on roads

Kildare has been included in an orange wind warning this morning, following a shift in the trajectory of Storm Bram. Southerly winds, veering westerly through the day, will be very strong to gale force, and with some damaging gusts also expected. Persistent and heavy outbreaks of rain may lead to flooding where the ground is already saturated. As the rain clears northwards, it will be followed by scattered showers, some of which could be heavy and thundery. Very mild with highest temperatures of 12 to 13 degrees, though feeling much colder in the wind.
