A full programme for Samhain Newbridge festival

A Family Pumpkin Craft session on Tuesday next, making Halloween felted finger puppets on Thursday the 30th, and an evening with the Kildare Bat Group are just some of the events in the 2025 Samhain Newbridge festival, writes Brian Byrne.

Under way since last weekend, the festival continues at various venues around Newbridge until the culminating Market Scare afternoon on Friday 31 October, which will conclude the proceedings with a Samhain procession, storytelling and a fire ceremony, all following big screen showings of Hocus Pocus and Sleepy Hollow.
