Working to complete Field of Dreams

As the official opening on 20 September gets closer, there's continuing activity at Kilcullen GAA grounds to complete the Field of Dreams, writes Brian Byrne. Yesterday, the ground covering for the Skills Wall was being put in place, along with the high netting over the fences, to keep errant balls within the facility.

It's just three years since the plans for the new complex of pitches, walkway and extra parking were revealed.

Work commenced on the almost €1 million development in February 2023.
