Kildare Biodiversity Conference 2025

The Kildare Biodiversity Conference will be held this year on the weekend of 18-19 October in Keadeen Hotel, writes Brian Byrne. It is organised by Kildare Wildlife Rescue in association with Kildare County Council and supported by the Department of Local Government, Housing & Heritage.

This year is a two-day event, with presentations and panel discussions. There will be something for everyone interested in learning more about our natural world. Sunday, 19 October, is devoted to wildlife rehabilitation and veterinary care. The day will showcase best practices and innovative methods to ensure these healthy animals can thrive and contribute to preserving their species.
