Bicycle repair and maintenance course

A 2-day bicycle repair and maintenance training course is on offer in Athy on 8/9 October, writes Brian Byrne. It's aimed at local tourism and micro-business owners and tour guides.

The €100 cost of the course is heavily subsidised by Kildare County Council and is being delivered in partnership with the Rediscovery Centre, at the Ballyroe Community Cabin R14 KH50.

Bikes and all necessary tools for the course will be supplied. It will run from 9am to 5pm each day.
