National Playday at KCC

A treat for families whose young ones may be suffering from back-to-school week blues could be the National Playday on Saturday, 6 September, writes Brian Byrne.

Kildare County Council's input will be at Arus Chill Dara in Naas on the day, with over 30 fun activities and stage acts.

The timing is noon until 5pm, and all activities are free. There's plenty of free parking, too.

All age groups will be catered for, and there will be accessible features such as a quiet entry, wheelchair-friendly access, a sensory suite, and accessible toilets. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

Kildare County Council has participated in National Playday for more than ten years.
