Calls for cameras over cemetery dumping

The latest instance of domestic rubbish being dumped at St Brigid's Cemetery has been described as disgraceful by Cllr Tracey O'Dwyer, writes Brian Byrne. She says it looks like a repeat offender is to blame, and she will follow up with the council to see what they can do.

The rubbish bags were dumped at the cemetery gates sometime during Sunday night, the second such incident in two weekends in a row.  

In comments on the latest offence, several locals have suggested using CCTV cameras to catch the culprits.
