Rubbish in McGarry's Lane

These 10 bags of rubbish are at the gates to St Brigid's Cemetery on McGarry's Lane this morning, writes Brian Byrne. They're clearly not cemetery rubbish, as they contain lots of food containers and other materials, which have attracted attacks by birds, spreading the dirt.

Kildare County Council have been informed. They would probably appreciate any information on where the bags came from or by whom they were dumped.

The Diary understands that this is the third major dumping in the lane in as many months.
