New local group campaigns for more childcare
A new Kilcullen group, Kilcullen Needs Childcare, is carrying out a survey to assess the need for more childcare facilities in the town, writes Brian Byrne. The group has been established by a number of parents campaigning for additional childcare and after-school places in Kilcullen.
They were prompted by the inability of existing childcare facilities in the town to offer a service because they are full and already have wait lists.
