Local artist in Kilkenny Arts Week exhibition
Local artist Mary McGrath will be participating in a four-woman exhibition in Kilkenny from Sunday, 10 August, writes Brian Byrne. The showing is part of Kilkenny Arts Week.
Athgarvan-based Mary McGrath, who has several times carried out reconstruction work on the tapestry behind the altar in Kilcullen Parish Church, will be exhibiting paintings and prints, alongside screen prints from Michelle Sweetman, stained glass from Margaret Becker, and paintings by Amelia Peart.
The 'Quartet' exhibition will be in the Castlewarren Village Studios. All are welcome to the opening reception on Sunday, 10 August at 4 pm. The exhibition will run until 16 August and attendance is free.
