Kildare Relay for Life breaks through €1 million

Congratulations to the organisers of the Relay for Life Kildare, who passed the one million euro total collected since 2013, writes Brian Byrne. The recent 2025 event raised €90,279. 

"It's an amazing amount that goes towards night nurse care for cancer patients, drivers to hospital care, and trial drugs," says Kilcullen's Sabina Reddy (left, above), who has been involved for many years.

This year, the Kilcullen Gospel Choir team raised more than €5,800 through the generosity of supporters for their local fundraising events.
