Former CPC student's first book for launch

A former Cross and Passion College student's first book will be launched this coming Sunday at Seanchai Books in Kildare Town, writes Brian Byrne. The event for James Groome's A Grimm Tale of Wolves will begin at 7pm.

James will be introduced on the occasion by Kilcullen best-selling author Hazel Gaynor, whose latest book Before Dorothy was recently released in the US and in the UK and Ireland.

James is currently studying English and Media at Dublin City University, and created all the illustrations for the book. He was guided and encouraged in the endeavour by his CPC Art teacher Ms Leslie Kelly and English teacher Ms Anne-Marie Dredge.  He received the Cross and Passion College English Award in May 2024.
