Date for Field of Dreams opening

The official opening of the GAA Field of Dreams will take place on Saturday 20 September, 2025, writes Brian Byrne. It will be a family-friendly event running from 2pm-5pm.

Kilcullen GAA will be marking the club's major milestone as a celebration of community spirit, teamwork and a "shared dream brought to life."

The development has been years in the making and includes a fully accessible 1.2km community walkway, a full-size adult pitch, two juvenile pitches, a skills wall and all-weather arena, increased car parking, and bicycle parking.

The day will begin with the club's juvenile teams showcasing their football, hurling, and camogie skills, alongside entertainment and food stalls.

The official opening ceremony will take place at 4pm. All welcome.
