Celtic workshops for adults and children

Two workshops based around the Celtic festival of Lugnasadh will be held at Rathargid Wood on the Kildare Steiner School campus on Sunday, 3 August, writes Brian Byrne. The parallel events are for adults and children, respectively.

The adult workshop will be centred on the Celtic symbol of the Triquetra, with participants learning how to draw it themselves and have artwork to take home. The children's event is a Forest School-inspired session with storytelling, games, and a hands-on corn doll workshop using natural materials to celebrate the harvest season.

The sessions will run from 2 pm until 4 pm, and bookings can be made at the dulracilldara.ie website. Solo adults and adults with children are welcome.
