Little Museum of Dublin back in original home

The Little Museum of Dublin is reopening to the public at its St Stephen's Green home tomorrow, Thursday 5 June, writes Brian Byrne. As somebody who really enjoyed a visit a couple of years ago, I can recommend it as well worth a couple of hours of nostalgic memory jogging.
The museum was temporarily located in Pembroke Street during a €4.3 million renovation of the original Georgian building site.
An official reopening will take place today, overseen by the Lord Mayor of Dublin, Emma Blain. The funding for the refurbishment was provided by Fáilte Ireland, Dublin City Council, the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, and benefactors.
Expanded exhibition spaces, a new reception, a youth education space, and a lift to improve accessibility are all part of the reimagined facility, which is ranked number one on TripAdvisor’s things to do in Dublin and is number 12 in the top 25 on their list of top attractions in Europe.
Information and bookings are available on their website, littlemuseum.ie.
