Culture Night projects deadline approaches

The deadline for submitting proposals for Culture Night 2025 is fast approaching, on Wednesday 18 June, writes Brian Byrne. Culture Night itself will be on Friday 19 September.

The annual event provides a wide range of activities free of charge to the public, in a national moment that shines a light on all aspects of culture, creativity and the arts.

Projects reflecting the county’s cultural richness, diversity, and younger audiences (18–35) are especially welcome. New participants and underrepresented communities are encouraged to apply. Anyone with a project or event proposal needs to contact the event coordinator Sheena Malone at culturenightkildare@gmail.com. Decisions will be notified during the week starting Monday 23 June.
