Council survey for recreation and sports plans

A call for submissions on new Outdoor Recreation and Local Sports plans has been made by Kildare County Council, writes Brian Byrne. It's in the form of an online survey and all answers are anonymous.
The consultation will close on Friday, 27 June 2025.
The Outdoor Recreation Plan will guide the sustainable development of outdoor recreation in the county as well as supporting more residents and visitors to take part in outdoor activity.
The Local Sports Plan will identify priority needs and increase participation in sport and physical activity in Kildare.
The council says that the input of individuals, organisations, clubs and groups from across Kildare is vital for the development of these two strategic plans, which are planned for implementation over the course of the next five years.
The survey can be accessed using this link and takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.
