Women's group to be launched this evening

Tonight's meeting to establish a Kilcullen women's group will be the precursor to organising a range of activities similar to those in a Women's Shed, writes Brian Byrne. The meeting is at 7pm in the Carter Room of the Kilcullen Community Centre. All women welcome.

The group will be publishing the name they have chosen for the initiative as soon as the committee is formed and officers elected at the meeting.

As the group doesn't yet have a permanent fixed base, it can't operate as a Women's Shed, but will offer similar activities and will be linked with the Kildare Public Partnership Network.
