Spout support night for Jack Courtney this evening

Jack Courtney with his parents Marian and Derek, before last year's JDC World Championships.

With no less than seven key tours between now and November, young Kilcullen darts player Jack Courtney has a very hectic remaining 2025, writes Brian Byrne. A support evening fundraiser is being held in The Spout this evening to help defray the expense of his travels.
The Third Year CPC student will be participating in the Junior Darts Corporation (JDC) Advanced Tour in mid-June in Coventry, UK, and in July will be competing in the European & Irish Open in Tallaght. These will be followed by participation in the Europe Cup event in Amsterdam.
In September he'll represent Ireland in Cardiff at the Nations Cup before taking his longest journey yet to South Korea where he's on the Irish team for the WDF World Cup.
October will see Jack throwing in Budapest, Hungary, at the World Masters, and in November he'll once again be back with the Irish team at Gibraltar for the JDC World Championships.
The Spout event this evening kicks off at 8pm. The Diary is planning a longer feature on Jack shortly.
