Fencing progress at Field of Dreams

Here's a nice neat fencing job currently being carried out around the new pitches at Kilcullen GAA, writes Brian Byrne. This is the latest phase in the very successful Field of Dreams project.

Completed in the past year were the 1.2km community walkway, now fully lit at night, along with the seeding of the three new pitches expected to be opening in August. Full lighting of the 145-vehicle new car park has also been completed, and an early element was the erection of new Ball Stop nets for the main pitch. A skills wall is also to be built.

The club has expressed a huge 'thank you' to everyone who made this possible. "literally hundreds of people and partners and companies, way to many to mention individually."
