Family Fun & BBQ Day for Camphill holiday project
A reminder that a Family Fun Day and Barbecue will be held at the Bridge Camphill Kilcullen community, behind An Tearmann, TODAY Friday 25 April, writes Brian Byrne. The event will support the campaign by two staff members doing the Camino de Santiago to raise money for a holiday in September for some of the 16 Bridge Camphill residents.
It's the initiative of Lucy Coade and Sandra Quigley, who work with Bridge Camphill and are undertaking a 106km sponsored trek along the Camino de Santiago in May.
They already had a Pancake Tuesday morning in a number of events planned between now and when they leave. There's also an iDonate page here.
The Fun Day will run from noon to 4pm and will include food, face-painting, drinks, games for all ages, a bric a brac sale and good company. Entry is €5 which includes a burger or hot dog and a drink.
All welcome.
