An art exhibition which opened this week in Naas Library and Cultural Centre has two Kilcullen interests, writes Brian Byrne. Among the 13 artists showing in the Connections presentation are Lynn B Worrall and Deirdre Groves.
It's the second group exhibition by Kildare Creative Sphere and will run through the rest of April. The collective was founded in 2022 during a residency at Riverbank Arts Centre where they held their Freedom of Choice exhibition.
The members meet weekly and continue to foster creative collaboration, experimentation, and friendship. Connections is a celebration of those artistic and human bonds, expressed through painting, sculpture, print, and mixed media.
Exhibiting at Connections, which opened last Tuesday evening, are Bairbre Herbert, Rosemary Noonan, Amy O’Connor, Eileen Keane, Lí Ní Chearbhaill, Lyn B Worrall, Deirdre Groves, Andrea Frugyik-Freind, Deirdre McNally, Lisa Woods, Frances Al-Sayyed, Anna de Cleir and JD Luttrell.
