Save 25c per stamp on postage in Ireland

On Thursday 27 February 2025 the cost of postage is to go up 25c per stamp, writes Joe Robinson. The cost of National stamps or “N” stamps will increase from €1.40 to €1.65 per stamp.

Stock up now on stamps at the current rate of €1.40. Any remaining stamps with 'N’ (national) and ‘W’ (worldwide) denominations remain valid and are fully useable after 27 February 2025 according to An Post.

Remember, post to nursing homes and care homes will continue to be free for the remainder of 2025.
