Jazz Festival issues open call for emerging musicians
Kildare Jazz Festival is seeking fresh, talented voices in jazz to perform on Friday 4 April 2025 in Riverbank Arts Centre. Musicians are invited to apply for the Emerging Artist or Group Performance Open Call.
The selected artist or group will be provided with a performance slot at the Festival, a stipend of €500, full house tech support, and access to all Kildare Jazz Festival performances. Festival curator Kasia Eliasz says this is an important opportunity to share music, connect with new audiences, and be part of a festival that celebrates the future of jazz in Ireland.
Applications are open until 5pm on Thursday 20 February 2025. The Open Call is open to Irish or Ireland-based artists. Following a selection process, the successful act will be notified no later than Tuesday 25 February. Visit riverbank.ie to apply, or email programme@riverbank.ie for more information.
Kildare Jazz Festival is funded by The Arts Council and supported by Riverbank Arts Centre and Kildare County Council Arts Service and takes place in Riverbank Arts Centre from Friday 4 to Sunday 6 April.
