More traffic calming needed on Brannockstown approach
Additional traffic calming measures on the Dunlavin approach to Brannockstown are being requested by Cllr Tracey O'Dwyer, who says that speed is still an issue in the area, writes Brian Byrne. She wants the traffic calming to be extended to include the junction to Ballymore.
The councillor has the request on the agenda for tomorrow's meeting of the Kildare-Newbridge Municipal District, where she is also asking the council to update the current Record of Protected Structures (RPS) records for surrounding areas.
She wants the update to name and detail the extent of natural stone walls, gates, pillars, railings, as part of the curtilage of a protected structure to prevent the erosion of the character and heritage of these locations.
