Christmas tree disposal

A reminder that Kildare County Council provides a free service to the public where they can bring their real Christmas trees to be recycled in a sustainable way. 

Local sites for collection are the Fairgreen, Naas, and the Lidl Distribution Centre, Newbridge (beside the R445 Roundabout).

The Christmas trees are shredded, and the mulched trees are made available to be used on local landscaping projects. The sites are open from Friday 3rd to Monday 20th of January 2025.
