Christmas single from KWWSPCA
A Christmas song single that is likely to get a good local response is Help Save a Life, the debut recording by the newly formed Choir for Paws and Claws established by volunteers at animal welfare charity KWWSPCA.
The song will get a big public airing at the charity's music event in the Whitewater Shopping Centre in Newbridge this coming Saturday. The musical entertainment throughout the day from 10am will support the animals in the charity's care.
The choir, which was set up by volunteer Elaine Reville and is made up of KWWSPCA volunteers from all sections of the charity, are using their voices to spread a powerful message this Christmas – bringing love, hope and joy to others. Through its heartfelt lyrics, the song asks us to speak up for vulnerable animals and give them the greatest gift of all: a second chance at life. All proceeds go directly to the charity.
The song was written by volunteer Deirdre Tracey and performed and arranged by volunteer Pam Kavanagh and her husband Pete. Sound engineer Paul (Rubber) Keogh generously donated his time and recording costs for the KWWSPCA. The cover artwork is by volunteer Lisa of Art Defrosted.
In true KWWSPCA tradition, everyone involved has volunteered their time and talents. Donations can be made online at this link.
