The Kilcullen Business Group members are holding their first Christmas Shopping Day promotion on Friday 6 December, writes Brian Byrne. There will be a street buzz, special offers in all the participating businesses, and popup spaces in a number of premises for home-based businesses and services.

To give an idea of what's going to be around, the Diary will update this special page with snippets as provided by participants. The page will show as top post from time to time, and there should be more every time you come back.

It’s here at Woodbine Books! The latest heartwarming historical romance from Kilcullen author Hazel Gaynor and Heather Webb, which opens 70 years ago in December 1952 during the Queen’s first year on the throne. A signing event is planned. Books, book tokens, cards and other bookish gifts.
