Ireland doing well in World Junior Darts

The Irish team at the Junior Darts Championships in Gibraltar are through to the last knockout stage where they play Gibraltar tomorrow for a place in the quarter final, writes Brian Byrne. The team comprise Kilcullen 15-year-old Jack Courtney along with Aidan O'Hara (Tipperary), Shay Feeney (Tipperary) and Jayden Fitzgerald (Cork).
Today they won all their group matches against Greece, Slovakia and Australia. The two-day team event ends tomorrow.
Earlier in the week, Jack Courtney in the individual championships made the last 16 of the Winmau Open, and topped his group in the knockout stages only to be eliminated later in those stages.
His father Derek from The Spout says that Jack is playing well.
