Feature film starring role for local young actor

A young member of the Kilcullen-based Talented Kids Performing Arts School is playing the lead role in an upcoming feature film, writes Brian Byrne. Cillian Sullivan (12) plays 'Bobby' in Spilt Milk, coming to Irish cinemas in 2025.
The film was recently screened at Estonia's Talinn Film Festival to audience acclaim. Starring alongside fellow Irish talent Danielle Galligan, Laurence O’Fuarain and Lewis Brophy, Cillian's character is a junior detective, taking on what start as small mysteries that slowly grow to be more serious.

Cillian, who lives near The Curragh, also plays a young Stephen Sondheim in an upcoming Sony film Blue Moon, a biographical production on the creative partnership of Rodgers and Hammerstein. The stars of this one include Ethan Hawke and Margaret Qualley.
Cillian has previously voiced 'Sullivan' in the RTE series Sullivan's Sails, and has appeared in other films including Suit Hung Tied Tongue and The Things We Do. He has also presented a number of shows in both English and Irish languages.
