Aladdin rehearsals with gusto in CPC

The CPC presentation of the Christmas Panto Aladdin is in full rehearsal at the moment, writes Brian Byrne. Our short video above is a Rough & Ready clip to show something of what can be expected when they go in front of the public on Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th November 2024 and tickets are available online or via the school. 

Directed by Mary McLaughlin, the students playing the principal characters are Aladdin – Seán Plunkett; Princess Jasmine – Bethany Swaine; Widow Twankey – Zoe Moran; Genie of the Lamp – Harry Davies; Abanazar – Savino Simion; Wishee – Sariah Broughall; Washee – Nicola Pytel; and Zohan (Abanazar’s sidekick) – Eyad Amr. 

There's a total of 49 TY Drama Module students involved. Pictured below are the front of house team and the set construction team.
