DID YOU KNOW?

The first explorer recorded to have visited the Arctic was the Greek geographer and astronomer Pytheas of Massalia, around 300 BCE. He described polar ice in a place he called Thule and is also the first person on record to describe the midnight sun.

The Kilcullen Lions Whist will resume on Thursday next, 17 October.

As usual the venue will Scoil Bhride, playing from 8pm.
